8th, Auguest, 2009, a luncky day in Chinese calendar, imould went to Jiyuan Mould Co., Ltd. Guided by sales manager of foreign business, we interviewed Jiyuan President, Li Yundi.

Imould: Mr Li, can you please make brief introduction about Jiyuan’s history, prsent, and tomorrow?

Li: Jiyuan was established in 1999, mainly makes injection moulds and injeted products. The factory takes an area of 2.001 hectares, 4000 m2 building areas. We have more than 120 staffs, and full set of complete management system.

Imould: what do you think is Jiyuan’s special advantage in competetion?

Li: our priority lies in service. We have dozens of injection machines to inject products for customers. We have accumulated rich experience in products injection, and at the same time, we extent our knowledge of mould to products, with years of experience in injection and mould maintaintance, we have far more deeper understanding of mould than any other manufacturers.

Imould: there are many problems in mould factory management, what do you think? What do you think is the unique management of Jiyuan?

Li: I think the following words work very well to solve management problems.

“responsibility, process, goals, welfare”. Responsibility, each department and each worker, they should clearly bear in mind, what is his responsibility? Our departments are all structed according to different responsibility. Process, mould is the combined work of many people, and each mould has a particular way in making. So we should make make according to its own features. Goal, each department will make a goal in the beginning of new year, and fight for the goal. We reward designers with high effeciency. Efficiency is an important standard to measure designers’ work. Our company also has a goal to guide us. Welfare, we do good job, realize the goal, and improve the efficiency, we also reward those who have made great contribution to the company. Everyone will get equal welfare the same as his efforts.

Imould: mould design is very complex process, how do you manage the design department?

Li: we are always adhere to ISO 9001:2000 quality management system. We can track each design documents. The design department has meeting every morning, and also meeting once a week. Designers communicate on the meetings to improve their ability and learn from each other. We also reserve the designs with mistake in order to avoid the same mistake.

Imould: what is the market location of Jiyuan?

Li: "attract customers with speciality, maintain customers with service".

 We are the first manufacturers making gas assisted mould in Huangyan. Gas assisted technology is to use nitrogen improve products surface. Customers have very strict requirements on products surface will cooperate with us.

In double colore moulds, we have also formed our priority. Compared with other factories, we are among the very few ones that have double colour injection machines, which have provide condition for double colour moulds tryout. Our double colour injection machine can also inject products for customers.

Our customers usually pay high attention to mould quality and mould life, long term cooperation, one stop injection solution. These are the customers Jiyuan need.

Imould: what do you think of the price competetion right now?

Li: Price is always considered the most competetive element in doing business. However, we oppose those companies who compete with even lower price than cost. We are working to improve our price according to our quality.

Imould: what about your international trade business? Do you have any plans?

Li: foreign trade takes up 60% of our business. Our goal is to be one of the most competetive mould manufacturers in the world. We have explore business by professional trad shows and internet. We have participated famous trade fairs like NPE and ChinaPlas. Our internet partner is imould.com. We have no worry in international trade.
